Shortcut To Work is not just about technology and cycling. They are an important part, but so are our sports activities.
A weekly recurring module is the sports module in collaboration with Sporting A (a department of the City of Antwerp). Here we use sports to train and measure soft skills.
Another, new, weekly sports module concerns GMB Fitness training in which we help the young people to be able to do everything with their physique in your daily life that you need and want to be able to do.
This module alternates with the circus module in which new skills are successfully taught, such as juggling. Something that was thought impossible suddenly becomes reality.
Twice a year we also go on a raft trip with a homemade raft, and we do an altitude course where you push your mental limits.
As a highlight of our sports activities, we are planning this year - for those who want - a multi-day cycling tour on our self-made bicycles. By the way, no activity is mandatory. Shortcut To Work only offers. Whether or not you accept the challenge is up to you.
Central to our sports activities is the promotion of an active lifestyle in combination with a growth mindset. You should be able to do everything you want in your life, both physically and mentally. You need not only a clear and confident mind, but also a strong body. You don't want to know how many employees experience physical ailments every day as a result of a one-sided load or too little exercise.
At the same time as the technical and sports activities, we are working intensively on a tailor-made guidance process in which obstacles to work are cleared, we make company visits (to show what is possible) and digital skills are improved.
This way you are well prepared at the start of your fun and well-paid new job.
